Summer JD Courses (As of Jan. 12, 2017)

FIRST SESSION 

Washington Judicial Externship 520, 6 credit hours — Classroom/fieldwork combination in Washington, D.C.

Instructor: Abigail Perdue

Class Format: Combination of classroom discussion and experiential learning in Washington, D.C.

Judicial Externship 540, 3 credit hours — Classroom/fieldwork combination

Instructor: Carol Anderson

Class Format: Winston-Salem classroom discussion

Schedule: One class session at beginning and one at end of session.

Comments: In addition to the two class meetings, each student is expected to complete a 25-page paper, a biweekly journal and participate in an initial placement meeting before the end of spring classes.

Carolina Externship 676, 4 credit hours — Classroom/online/fieldwork combination
